Mike Luckovich: Swift kick
I am so concerned about the outcome of the 2016 presidential election that I am becoming politically active for the first time in my life. Yesterday I made my first political contribution. I contributed to the Gary Johnson/Bill Weld campaign.
I haven’t liked Hillary since she started her political career as a carpetbagger. To go from zero to US Senator by moving to another state and just because of who she married is a bit too much and now Trump is trying to go from zero to the president of the United States. I believe Trump would cause so much damage to this country that my children will suffer the consequences their entire lives. My hope is that Hillary and Trump beat each other to a pulp and Gary Johnson swoops in to take the election. If Gary Johnson does not reach the 15% poll results required to get into the debates, I will swing my support to Hillary Clinton. She is very much the lesser of two evils.
Each presidential election primary season the duopoly of the Democrat and Republican party candidates tell their followers exactly what they want to hear. When they make it to the general election they pivot to the middle to attract more votes from less extreme voters. Once elected they revert back to what got them beyond the primary. The Libertarian party does none of this garbage. They don’t need to pivot because they don’t have extreme left or right positions just to appease voters. They are the authentic party.
Note to visitors to this website from outside the United States: The views of Donald Trump do not represent the views of the vast majority of Americans. We are ashamed that he has gotten this far.
Note to Trump supporters: Do you see how easy it is to manipulate Donald Trump? All Putin had to do was compliment Trump to make Trump pro Russia. Can you imagine Trump’s response if Putin points out Trump’s extraordinarily small hands?
Donald Trump is bad news for this country. The fact that he is already a major party presidential nominee is a major embarrassment for this country worldwide. Even if somehow Donald Trump stops acting like a 3rd grader long enough to become president, it will only have been temporary. The real narcissist, thin-skinned, divisive, racist, bigot, pathological liar, misogynist, xenophobic Donald Trump will resurface the second he is declared the winner, God forbid. Forget about Trump acting presidential. He can’t even act like a decent human being. Donald Trump has zero empathy for his supporters. He’s only interested in promoting himself and his brand. Unfortunately for him he has destroyed his brand and his debt payments will become increasingly hard to make. His father is not here to bail him out.
Donald Trump seems to think if he calls an opponent something, that by default that must mean those words are not descriptive of him.
Today 8/5, he described Hillary as “unstable”, “lacks the judgement, temperament and moral character to lead this country”, “dangerous liar”, “unhinged”, “unfit” and “unbalanced”. All these were descriptions of him repeatedly in the past few weeks.
In reading from sheets of paper, Trump looked and sounded like a hostage reading a statement prepared by his captors. Trump was not being Trump. He was doing what the establishment told him to do. If he keeps this up, he will lose support from the last remaining demographic he won over, clueless people that think Trump is everything he is not.
Today my daughter’s Mexican-American roommate told me a sad story. She said she was in a grocery store checkout lane and two men wearing Trump caps queued up in line behind her. She instantly felt frightened and rushed out of store as quickly as she could. This is the type of fear Trump is spreading through out the country.
Trump needs to lose in a landslide so we can show the rest of the world that only a small fringe group drank the Trump Kool-Aid.

If true, this is the most profound Youtube video I have ever seen. Like brainwashed Trump supporters, I have fallen for this hook line and sinker. If Trump does the big reveal, I will go from despising Trump to admiring him.
Everyone should watch this. It’s short enough to keep your attention.
This video is long but worth enduring to get a real look at Trump’s early business life and remember a leopard cannot change its spots. I challenge all Trump supporters to watch this and see if they remain a Trump supporter.
The next two videos show how Trump penetrated weak minds
